Patron Survey
Page content:
If you have joined us recently at the Canberra Theatre Centre, we hope you had an unforgettable time immersed in the moment.
Following your performance, if you were the person who booked theatre tickets, you’ll receive an email from us inviting you to complete a short questionnaire. We’d love to hear about what you liked, and if anything could have been a bit better; this feedback helps us improve and plan for the future.
Plus, by completing our questionnaire, you have the chance to win two tickets to a performance of your choice at Canberra Theatre Centre! We select one winner every month, publishing the winning response and the name of the winner here on our website.
Patron Survey Competition Winners
For the chance to win, respondents must answer the following question in 25 words or less: “What is one show you would love to see brought to the Canberra Theatre Centre and why?”
| Submission | Name | Winning Response |
|---|---|---|
| July 2024 | Maree | I want to see a play set in Canberra in the summer called a MidSummerNats Dream because who doesn’t like Shakespeare and mullets. |
| August 2024 | Sean | Kylie Minogue but would settle for Dannii. |
| September 2024 | (Private Response) | |
| October 2024 | Sandra | I would love to see Jesus Christ Superstar. I saw the original show at the Canberra Theatre starring Marcia Hines and Jon English in 1974. |
| November 2024 | Gay | Cliff Richard who will be touring Australia in late 2025. The first ever LP record I bought almost 60 years ago was his (called Constantly). |
| December 2024 | Tiahn | The Imperfects Podcast – unique blend of humor, vulnerability, and meaningful conversations creates incredible connection. Embracing imperfection and fostering resilience align with Canberra’s community values. |
| January 2025 | Sarah | I would love to watch Aaron Chen perform at the Canberra Theatre Centre as he’s a great representation of ethnically diverse comedic talent. |
| February 2025 | Donna | My favourite band is Hindley Street Country Club. Would be fantastic to hear them play at the theatre or playhouse, rather than a club. |
| March 2025 | Emma | An original musical about Canberra’s quirks where roundabouts, magpies, and Floriade take centre stage. A love letter to our city, with jazz hands! |
| April 2025 | Sally | Big Name, No Blankets by the Ilbijerri Theatre. The Warumpi Band was iconic, and I love First Nations’ productions. |
